Maya/mudbox workflow: Managing Files

For each of the separate objects in the model I exported PSD files for - diffuse -specular
and extracted maps - normal - displacement(scrapped this as it was too render heavy)
the maps were extracted from the highest level to level 0 for each object I then sent the model from mudbox to maya at level 0 (changed this, I used level 2 or level 3 depending on the complexity of the object)


I organised them as in the screenshots above. I then created new blinns, and used the hypershade graph editor to connect each map / psd. (I reverted to using pngs as the psds seemed to be slowing down my computer)
